Conversion / Migration XML Authority imports schema information residing in existing data structures and documents. Users can even define reusable metadata importers to convert existing applications into XML schemas. Once imported into XML Authority, the schema can be enhanced and integrated to create powerful XML schemas. Portable schemas can aggregate application functionality and reduce dependency on proprietary structures. Currently supported environments include:
XML Authority outputs schema information for the current and proposed XML standards, providing diverse and future proofed implementations of valid XML.Ê Output from XML Authority is formatted for easy legibility. The following output formats are supported:
Enhanced Support For Emerging and Existing Dialects Developers now have enhanced design capabilities for creating schemas.Ê XML Authority now allows for user definable data typing and refinement by extension within SOX v2.0.Ê Further support for SOX v2.0 includes an integrated SOX parser allowing for secondary validation of schemas.Ê Support for XML-Schema / XSDL has been enhanced to include user definable data typing and support for the April 7th W3C Working Draft of this emerging specification.Ê Meta-schema support allows users to adorn XDR schema documents with additional information (e.g. relational database mappings) to make their schemas much more powerful than before.Ê These adornments can be used in a variety of ways to more fully integrate schemas into the userâs technical environment.Ê This meta-schema information is then graphically represented in the user interface to facilitate subsequent use and collaboration.
Design XML Authority uses an intuitive and graphical user interface design environment where schemas can be developed on a modular level and integrated for comprehensive solutions.Ê Moreover, collaborative efforts for schema development are fully supported with XML Authority. This is especially useful when sharing schemas between trade groups and organizations.
Management XML Authority includes schema development support beyond the XML 1.0 DTD specifications, providing a complete solution for advanced document publishing and data interchange applications.ÊÊ Schema information can be published to support all levels throughout the organization including developers, designers, analysts, and executives.Ê This feature allows for easy internal communication ö streamlining the development process.ÊÊ Dependent on the reader, schema can be published in any one of these formats:
Advanced Services In addition to support for DTDâs, XML Authority delivers advanced capabilities of the emerging XML schema specification.Ê Users of XML Authority enjoy the best of todayâs standards and the latest concepts in XML development.
